Hi, I'm Maytham, a developer of both web and software, as well as a system administrator. I make and run some of my own software and self-hosted FOSS projects for my own personal use, as well as some stuff for clients.

I use Linux (specifically Debian) on a daily basis for most of my work. For development, I use neovim (btw) and tmux.

At the moment I actively use Go, Python, and JavaScript/TypeScript for backend, CLI, and frontend stuff respectively. Other programming languages I have at least "touched" before (i.e. written a fair bit of it but a while ago) include good ol' PHP (ah yes running XAMPP on MacOS 8 years ago to get the full LAMP stack going), Perl (some Lintian and DDTP stuff for Debian) and Rust (proof-of-concept stuff that has been lost to time).

Currently being force-fed Java and hating every moment of it. Attempting to learn C and C++ in my spare time.

Occasionally finding myself on the front lines against AI scrapers DDOSing for content.

Strictly no vibe coding here. Every line of code in my projects is blessed by human touch. 🤌🏽
